              We invite Auntie to tea. Hiding our lips behind flowery teacups, we peep at her. She is lamb chops, shoulder of mutton, pinkish slices. And we are hungry young ladies.

              “How are you?” we enquire politely. Meaning, when are you going to die?

              “In good health,” she replies nervously. “Beeah!”
